Community Support

Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium, a non-profit organization, prides itself on its contributions to the surrounding communities. In an effort to give back, the Zoo is willing to consider requests from the local community. With multiple philanthropic commitments and limited charitable resources, we will do what we can to satisfy all requests.

Special Passes

Special Pass memberships area provided to non-profit agencies meeting certain criteria set by Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium.

Formal education programs, after-school, YMCA, church youth programs and the like do not qualify for a Special Pass Membership. Organization contacts of these programs should visit to request school group field trip pricing for future Zoo trips.

New program guidelines are currently being reviewed for the 2020 season. No Special Pass Membership requests for new accounts or renewal applications are being accepted at this time.

All currently active accounts will remain active through December 31, 2019 under the current program guidelines. Current program participants will be notified by mid-December of the changes to the Special Pass Membership Program that will take effect January 1, 2020.

Please Note: Special Passes are NOT offered as donations to local fundraisers. Please see the Donations section below.
